Shree Bharatimaiya College of Optometry & Physiotherapy

Vice-Principal's Message

It gives me an immense pleasure to put forth a brief scenario of our institution. At present, the institution runs UG courses in Optometry and Physiotherapy, PG course in Optometry and Ph.D. course in Optometry. The faculty of the institution is well qualified and almost all faculties are engaged in research activity. Our institution is committed for national and state CME. To cater the academic and research-oriented needs of the students, our institution organizes expert lectures under Lead College Programme. Along with academic achievements, it contributes to develop the overall personality of the students by organizing co-curricular and extra-curricular activities such as sports competitions, poster competition, inter college quiz competition, dance/skit competition, etc. The students are motivated to participate in cultural programmes and to contribute in national magazine “The Indian optician”. Every year our institution offers scholarship to poor and needy students under Government Scheme for girls and boys respectively.

To me the very purpose of quality education is character building. Children are malleable, who can be shaped into persons of excellence by their teachers. As responsible teachers, we have to be exemplary to our students if we want them to be assets to the society and the nation. I feel it is important for every child to enjoy a sense of achievement. Every child should be encouraged to perform to the fullest ability and due importance should be given to learning in areas beyond academics.

“A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning.”
